    The APC SRC1KUXIX850 is a 1kVA double-conversion online UPS, and that topology is the whole reason to buy it. Incoming mains is rectified and re-inverted continuously, so your equipment never sees a transfer gap, a voltage sag or a brownout — only a clean 230V sine wave. With a 160–280V input window, it keeps regulating through the kind of supply swings that push an ordinary UPS onto battery every evening.

    Rated at 1000VA / 800W with 93% efficiency, it runs efficiently and stays compact at 8.5cm wide, though the fan runs constantly as online units do.

    The detail that matters: it ships without a battery. You add an external 48VDC pack sized to the runtime you actually need, and it supports lithium-ion — meaning 2,000+ cycles instead of 300, far less weight, and a pack you replace without replacing the UPS.

    That makes it a genuinely long-life purchase for anyone protecting a small server, NAS, networking rack or lab equipment.
