Raising a service request

- For physical damage or a unit that does not work out of the box, send a photo of the unit and its label the same day — those claims are time-limited.
- We confirm whether it is a warranty case, tell you what happens next, and give you a reference for the request.
Onsite visits (Bangalore city)
- Under warranty: free onsite visit for APC UPS covered by the APC onsite warranty. Carry-in products, such as RBC battery cartridges, are brought to our service center.
- Out of warranty: onsite visit charge plus the repair cost, both told to you before any work starts.
- Outside Bangalore city, service is at our Srirampuram service center.

- For a warranty claim, the invoice — warranty runs from the invoice date, and the invoice is the warranty proof. Not needed for an out-of-warranty (chargeable) repair.
- The unit's model and serial number.
- For a battery claim, the battery cartridge itself: APC RBC batteries carry a carry-in warranty.

Do I need the invoice for APC warranty service?
Only if the UPS is still under warranty. APC warranty runs from the invoice date, not the manufacturing date, and the invoice carries the model and serial number, so it is the proof of warranty for a free-of-cost warranty repair; no separate warranty card is issued. If the UPS is out of warranty, no invoice is needed: it is repaired on a chargeable basis.
Do you repair both in-warranty and out-of-warranty APC UPS?
Yes. A UPS under warranty is repaired free of cost under APC's warranty terms. An out-of-warranty UPS is repaired on a chargeable, out-of-warranty basis, and we tell you the cost before any work starts.
Do you do onsite visits for UPS repair?

Will repairing my UPS elsewhere void the APC warranty?
Opening the unit or having it repaired by an unauthorised shop can void the manufacturer warranty. Warranty work should go through APC or its authorised service center.
My UPS backup time has dropped. Is that a warranty claim?
Usually it is the battery reaching the end of its life, which is normal after three to five years. Check the exact replacement cartridge in the Battery Finder, or send us the model and we will confirm it.

Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm IST, closed on Sundays and public holidays.
